klarify Co. was founded by Klara Carames in 2006 when a friend suggested hiring Klara to help organize her home office. It had never occurred to Klara that she might be paid for something she enjoyed doing, sorting clutter and organizing stuff. Friends and family always looked forward to her visits because they knew before Klara left, something in their homes - a closet, a cupboard, a refrigerator, a drawer, a pile - would be organized.

Prior to founding Klarify Co., Klara worked at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce for 8 years as the executive assistant to the president. The Brooklyn Chamber, the largest chamber in New York City, is an economic development organization with over 1,400 members and a staff of 30. Due to her organizing and multi-tasking skills, during her tenure at the Chamber, Klara also took on the roles of office manager, human resources administrator and coordinator for special events.

Klara's business is flourishing as she works with clients that include busy executives, new moms and individuals that are experiencing personal transitions such as death and divorce. Klarify's professional organizing service develops customized systems to efficiently handle paper clutter and space congestion in homes and offices. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

Though born in New York City, Klara grew up in Mexico City. When she was 12 the family moved to Michigan where she ultimately attended Oakland University and received a Bachelor of Arts. Klara lives in the Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn with her husband and 7-year old son.
